R Commander Alternative
R Commander (the Rcmdr package) is a graphical front end for R. It exposes common analyses through dialogs and writes the underlying R script as it goes. StatVeda covers the same family of common analyses without requiring R or any install.
R Commander compared with StatVeda
- R Commander requires a working R installation and the Rcmdr package. StatVeda runs in the browser with no install.
- R Commander's strength is that it generates R script as a byproduct, so a beginner can graduate to scripting. StatVeda does not generate R script; it produces the result directly.
